Another reader has sent us the following information on a recent sale of The Reveries of Omar.
This book was last sold at auction for $300 (includes Buyer’s Premium): The estimate was $500 – $800
    Sale description was as follows:
Title: Reveries of Omar Author: Trew, Cecil G.
Place: Los Angeles Publisher: Kaloprint Corporation Date: 1929
25 (of 26) leaves, each with a mounted “Kaloprint” plate illustrated a quatrain from the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam. 33×26 cm (13×10¼”) loose in an arts & crafts style leather portfolio, stamped in blind and highlighted with colors. Artist Proof Set No. 372 of 1000.
Each print with the stamped signature of the artist on the mount. A previous owner has numbered the leaves in pencil on the reverse, number 20 is not present. Despite the rather large limitation of 1000 sets, this work is rather scarce with OCLC locating only 6 copies.
